Broncos Bounce Back in Week 4

The Denver Broncos connected on a touchdown pass with 1:33 left to go in the game to beat the Tennessee Titans by a score of 26-20 on Sunday, October 3rd in Nashville, Tennessee. Despite only 19 yards rushing on the day, Kyle Orton led the Broncos by passing for 341 yards on 50 attempts while recording 2 TD passes and an interception. The victory moved Denver to 2-2 on the young season which ties them in second place with San Diego in the AFC West standings. They both trail the fast-starting Kansas City Chiefs who rested with their bye at 3-0. After the Sunday's game, Broncos Quarterback Kyle Orton has the Broncos ranked first in passing yards this season in the entire NFL. Will this continue?

The Broncos haven't had too many injuries so far this season which is necessary for the team's success this year. However, Andre Goodman missed the game against the Titans due to his thigh. On a positive note, Brian Dawkins returned to the team after injuring his ankle last week. His presence in the Broncos defense was a key to shuting down the Titans offense. Who is the biggest key in the Broncos defense? Brian Dawkins or Champ Bailey?

In other news, the Denver faithful, coaches, and players are still mourning after the news that wide receiver, Kenny McKinley was found dead in his home last Monday. Authorities listed the death as an apparent suicide. As the Broncos prepare for their season, they are reminded on life, something that goes far beyond football.

  1. Most likely they will not be 1st in the league in passing all year and I think that Champ Bailey is more of a key factor. Hey, you spelled authorities wrong. At least Chiefs fans can spell correctly!...... On another note, it is very unfortunate to hear about McKinley. My prays go out to his family.

  2. hahahaha You have got to be kidding me! Seems like you Chiefs fans can't spell either.... I'm glad your "prays" are with the family. My "prayers" are with the family as well! I agree that Champ Bailey is more valuable to the team

  3. The Broncos are a very lucky team right now. They didn't deserve to win against Tennessee.

It is hard to root for Tebow when he's playing for the Broncos. You should do an article on how Tebow, virtually a patron saint, is playing for the Devil's team.

  4. I think champ bailey is more of a key factor to the broncos defense. although he is starting to show his age his knowledge of the position makes up for it and at the cornerback position it is hard to come by a great cornerback that performs consistantly over the years such as bailey has.
